      Women's Ministries

Women are uniquely able to relate and meet the needs of other women.  Women's Ministries, therefore, can be an effective means of reaching out with the love of Christ to non-believers and believers alike, promoting both church growth and Christian maturity.

The woman of today is vastly different from her grandmother.  Educational opportunities and societal changes present radically new challenges to the Church of Jesus Christ to meet a woman's spiritual, emotional and social needs.  Our task is to relate in relevant ways to women in a changing world with the Good News of an unchanging God.

The Evangelical Presbyterian Church recognizes the giftedness and worth of women.  It acknowledges and encourages the utilization of their gifts in partnership with the whole body of Christ for the upbuilding of God's Kingdom.

What are the goals of EPC Women's Ministries?

to communicate to every women her status as image-bearer of God, affirming her dignity, worth and giftedness, and inviting her to cultivate a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Chris.

to provide women with opportunities for the discovery and development of their spiritual gifts, and to promote their use within the nurturing environment of the body of Christ.

to resource the local church and presbyteries with information, ideas, encouragement and support for doing the work of God through the ministry of women.

to promote connectional relationships between our churches and our women through corporate opportunities for spiritual growth, service and prayer.
