A little about Loryn Smith

Loryn is the mother of fourteen children, seven of whom were adopted through the foster care system. She and her husband fostered for thirty years, twenty-one of those in the Suncoast Region. Loryn is a frequent trainer in this community, bringing practical application of parenting skills for children impacted by abuse and neglect. She has served both professionally and personally in many capacities to impact the lives of children in our area. Loryn Smith is the Owner/CEO of Finally Home Christian Adoption Services, a private adoption agency in Hillsborough County.

A little about Andy Taylor

Andy Taylor has a passion is to see people come into a real, satisfying and trusting relationship with the Lord, set free from the things that hold them back, and experiencing the fullness of life that Jesus won for them on the Cross. He is the National Director of Ellel Ministries in the USA and is a member of Ellel’s International Executive Leadership.

Mason Hall / Narthex Remodel

Plans are underway to give Mason Hall and our Narthex a “facelift”! Replacing our 13 year-old flooring, wall treatments, drapes, chairs, etc. will be exciting for all of us. The cost will be $38-$40,000 and will not come out of the church’s General Fund. In addition, we ask that all donations be above regular tithes and offerings. **If you have previously committed verbally to the committee regarding a donation or would simply like to contribute now, please make checks payable to “EPC” and place in the offering plate. Your contributions are tax deductible. Please note “Remodeling Project” in the memo section of your check. Your response, questions, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated ASAP by the committee members, Malissa Crawford, Stephanie Kilton, Chris Larson and Sandee Sytsma.

Box Tops for Education

In an effort to support our local elementary schools, the outreach committee has placed a box in the lobby for collection of boxtops from various products that can be redeemed by the schools for much needed supplies. Pick up a sheet next to the box that describes the eligible products and let’s see how fast and how many times we can fill up the box.
